Foreign character support and changing site templates now available
Hello Fliggo!
Here are some updates we just made.
Foreign Character / UTF-8 Support
We recently got a lot of emails telling us we messed up foreign character support on Fliggo so that people in countries such as Japan and China couldn't use their native text. We took that issue very seriously and in a mad dash made sure that Fliggo supports UTF-8. Thanks to everybody for letting us know, and please continue to do so if something doesn't seem right. (just email support [at] fliggo.com)
Changing Site Templates
On a different note, we noticed some strange behavior with people creating sites. Some of you would create a site and then a few minutes later delete it, only to create one with the same name again. It took a little investigation, but it turned out that you guys wanted to change your site template after creating a site. However, there was no option to do so. We have changed that, and now you can change your site template just as easily as you chose it to begin with. Go to Customize, and then Site Template in your site dashboard (see picture below).
On a related note, we'll have a new template for you shortly.
All the best, and keep the feedback coming!
