We've revamped our manage page so it's even easier to manage your Posterous blogs! It's a totally new experience that we just unveiled this weekend, and you should go give it a try.

In addition, we've just added support for PubSubHubbub with the help of our friends at Superfeedr. For everyone, this will mean your posts will appear in Google Reader much faster, as they're gradually rolling out PubSubHubbub support. This is in addition to our SUP realtime support that we added to make your posts show up in FriendFeed even faster. Both SUP and PubSubHubbub are enabled now for all posterous blogs. If you're a developer and want to take advantage of this, head on over to our PubSubHubbub hub.

We've got a huge backlog of really awesome changes and features that we know you'll love, so stay tuned.

As always, if you have any problems, questions or suggestions, fire it our way to help@posterous.com.

We all know that Posterous is the easiest way to share photos and videos with your friends on Twitter. Now, we've just added a new feature that turns tags on Posterous into #hashtags when you autopost to Twitter or any other microblog.

For instance:

Subject: It really does smell like teen spirit ((tag: grunge, nirvana))

becomes:

To enable this feature, just edit the "Advanced Settings" of your Twitter autopost site by visiting the autopost page and add "{{hash_tags}}" to your custom footer:

Posterous is proud to announce the ability to change the look and feel of your Posterous blog! It's been a long time coming, and are we ever excited about releasing this feature to you guys today.

Choose from five built-in themes
Including one designed by theme creator Bill Israel. And we've got a whole ton more on the way. We wanted to get this in your hands ASAP, and we'll be releasing more into the system as soon as we create them.

Be able to upload header images
Customize your blog by creating a custom blog header in your favorite image editor. Then just upload it and see it at the top of every page on your blog. No coding experience necessary.

And choose new colors
Want to change the link color? Switch something up? Use our color picker and you don't have to code a single line of HTML.

For people who want to customize to the max...

If you're an advanced user, designer, or engineer, now you can totally change the CSS and HTML layout of your site.

Not only that, Posterous Themes are Tumblr-compatible. We built the Posterous Theme Engine to work great with the thousands of existing Tumblr themes out there! Just drop the theme code into the "advanced mode" editor. Want to add commenting and favoriting? It's just a couple lines of simple HTML away. Read more about it in our theming docs.

Some examples of Posterous Themes in the wild...

Check out what Posterous super-themer Cory Watilo has built with full CSS / HTML customization:

Our friends at Mugasha, Vidly, and Tweetvite have all chosen Posterous to host their company startup blogs. Dustin Curtis is liveblogging his 30 day flight on JetBlue on posterous too!

So what are you waiting for? It's enabled on your Posterous blog now. Go to your Manage page, and click Edit Settings > Theme and Customize to get started.

37signals has been a huge inspiration for us. They invented Rails and pioneered a new way of thinking about web startups that is shaking up the conventional wisdom around how technology startups operate. They recently linked to us in their blog of cool new things on the Internet, and we wanted to return the favor.

See their blog post here.

Extra 37signals awesomeness, since we're talking about them...

Hands-on therapies are among the top-rated treatments for people suffering with back pain according to a new survey by the Consumer Reports Health Ratings Center. Fifty-eight percent rated chiropractic/spinal manipulation as helping a lot. And massage (48%) and physical therapy (46%) were close runners up. Consumers also rated their satisfaction with practitioners, telling Consumer Reports they were more likely to be “highly satisfied” with the back pain treatment received from their chiropractors (59%) than from their primary-care physicians (34%).

We've been getting a ton of requests for this, so here you go. You can now autopost your Posterous posts to other sites right from the post page itself. Simply click the "Post to elsewhere" button on your post's page, and then click where you want the post sent.

This enables you to post via posterous@posterous.com, so it's not automatically autoposted, check the post online, edit it, get it just right, and then autopost it when you are ready. This also means if you have multiple blogs setup with Posterous, you can choose to post to just one of those.

Finally, when you create a new post on the website itself, there's an option under "More options" that lets you disable autopost for that post.

The Posterous bookmarklet is a special bookmark that lets you quickly grab content out of the page you're on. You can click and drag to select text and click "Share on Posterous" in your bookmark bar, and you'll get the Posterous bookmarklet window that will let you edit text, add a comment, and choose which site to post to. Just click the bookmark on its own and it will auto-detect all large photos, video and media on the page, even from your friends blogs or posterii.

If you use it in conjunction with Autopost, suddenly the bookmarklet becomes a universal bookmarklet that you can use to post to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and any other blog that Posterous supports.

Click here to install it and start posting right away.

One of the things I like a lot about being a photographer is that I don't have to do anything but pushing the buttons! Well, not quite, but a really good model and a really good makeup artist make a huge difference that makes me feel that way. One of the shoots yesterday was beauty photo shoot with a makeup artist Natasha (Media Makeup, http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=437626723). The models were Audrey and Ciara Caneega (http://ciaracaneega.webs.com/), both awesome models, as you see in the pictures below! They all did terrific job and I highly recommend them if you need a model or a makeup artist!

Natasha and I also work with wedding customers together, and as you see, a good team for creative or fashion-oriented people!
