How often do you find yourself stuck at a traffic light, wondering how long it's going to take till the light turns green? Damjan Stanković's tweaked stoplight design now takes the guesswork out of that problem. The new and improved light features a progress bar which ticks away around the edge of the lamp. Aside from calming anxious drivers, the stoplight helps inform motorcyclists that the light is working, and that the sensors haven't missed their bike. Pedestrians would also benefit, and would be saved from crossing at the wrong time and having to rush across the street.
This idea could potentially save energy as well. If motorists knew that there was plenty of time till the light turned green, they could shut off their engines to conserve fuel.

The logo is part of the visual appearance and the identification feature of a company. Over time, firms continue to evolve or change their strategy, which is often through the adjustment of corporate design to the outside. Big companies like Apple, Google and BMW have revived in recent decades, again and again their logo design.

I love comic books and superheroes and it's hard to explain why, however I could say that it's one of my first contact with art, even though they are commercial. Now imagine if a famoust artist like Pablo Picasso were alive and decided to paint about superheroes? That is what Mike Esparza decided to play with, he created a superhero series with the Picasso's Cubist style.

Nick Veasey is a British photographer and filmmaker working primarily within the medium of X-ray imaging.

Born in London in 1962, he worked in the advertising and design industries and pursued work in conventional still photography before making the serendipitous discovery of applying X-ray imaging to everyday objects and skeletons after being asked to X-ray a cola can for a television show. Veasey also X-rayed the shoes he was wearing on the day and upon showing the finished image to an art director, was galvanised by the response it provoked.

His work has featured in many international advertising campaigns and adorned products and packaging worldwide.
