All it takes is a camera, a tripod, some photoshop magic... oh, and true artistry too.

Wow, Kirk Mastin taped a Flip video camera to a $3,500 Canon XH-A1 + pro mic, and filmed a mini-short with both of them filming identical footage. He then runs through it one after another, and you can barely tell the difference. The main difference actually is the sound quality, and even that isn't significant at all.
This is apparently the video blog entry that caused the NYTimes to pick up the Flip camera. Anyway, Kirk Mastin, your blog rocks.
And also I just finally ordered a Flip Mino HD myself. I'm absolutely inspired by the storytelling possibilities.
No more Hallmark for me... I now know where to get cool cards and invitations printed.
Posterous super-blogger Patrick Au-Yeung's wife just started the company Paperculture (I love the name, love the brand), and as you can see they're creating some impressive, ground-breaking modern designs that are customizable. They describe themselves as being inspired by brands like Kate Spade, Design Within Reach, Mini, Marc Jacobs and Apple. That's a damn fine list.Ever want to customize what your Twitter message says when you post from posterous? What about what gets shown on your blog when you post? Now you can. Go to your Autopost Manager and edit settings for your services. You'll see this power-user option when you click Advanced Settings.
Posterous is all about helping you publish everything online, everywhere. Autopost just got more powerful. Got questions, issues, or suggestions? Fire them our way at help@posterous.com.
Posterous has just launched dead simple posting of photos, video, music, and files of all kinds to Facebook through our Posterous Facebook app.
All of the usual autopost options apply -- you can still email facebook@posterous.com OR manually post to Facebook through the "Post to elsewhere" button on the sidebar of your post.
So what are you waiting for? Set up autopost to facebook now.
We've been getting a ton of requests for this, so here you go. You can now autopost your Posterous posts to other sites right from the post page itself. Simply click the "Post to elsewhere" button on your post's page, and then click where you want the post sent.
This enables you to post via posterous@posterous.com, so it's not automatically autoposted, check the post online, edit it, get it just right, and then autopost it when you are ready. This also means if you have multiple blogs setup with Posterous, you can choose to post to just one of those. Finally, when you create a new post on the website itself, there's an option under "More options" that lets you disable autopost for that post.
We're really excited to be releasing one of our most requested features: tagging! You can now categorize the posts on your site by adding tags either through email, or on the post's page itself.
Add tags simply in the subject of your email using the syntax ((tag: apple, gadgets)). Tagging doesn't have to be a tedious task you do after creating a post; simply tag your posts as you create them right in the message. Not only can you see all posts on a site with a given tag, but you can view all posts throughout Posterous with a tag. It's a great way to see what people are saying about any given topic. Enjoy!
