Wow. Has anybody heard of Peek yet?
It's awesome. I found it via the Posterous folks. It makes perfect
sense for me - I don't want to invest in an iPhone yet (I'm waiting
until June and they release the new version of the Jesus phone in
India, etc.), but definitely want an email-handling gadget right about
now.
Even better news - they're
releasing it in India in a few weeks! (Does it have something to do
with their CEO, Amol Sarva, is of Indian origin?). If they actually
sell it for the prices they're mentioning there, I'll be one of the
first to go get it. Fawesome, is what it would be to lay my hands on
this baby. Can't wait, can't wait.

... i don't know what it is but it sounds like a good gadget all the same.
Anyway, that is not the reason why am writing this. I forgot my flashdisk on a shared computer, for a day or so and today i come to check out my stuff and the most important folder, the one closest to my heart, the one that is soo damn priceless to me... is missing! Am angry because for one, the computer is in French and i know not a thing about the lingo. I checked the recyle bin but there was nothing there. I am not a techy and never had backup for the same, i feel so bad losing everything i have worked on for all those years, from my articles, to god knows what else, but am still clinging on the last hope of the 'Recovery' facility on the comp. Am really looking forward for help.
Can a peek sort this out?

Man, this is probably the first time I'm actually winning something in my life. Wait, I did win the Supercars.net F1 Guessing Game 3 years in a row but then who'd give any prizes on a community forum?
