"So many people do not feel that they have a divine consciousness--and this is preposterous.

Of course you have a divine consciousness! It probably is latent or, in a relative sense, not fully awakened. And I would prefer the latter because many people are very kind, even though they don't understand where their kindness comes from.

But now we begin to wonder about this great divine consciousness.

We say to ourselves, "Well, I have it--so what?"

So what!

It's the Sun of your being, this divine consciousness. This is what rays out illumination to your mind.

But just as the clouds in the sky opaque the sun and the rain that falls comes down and conceals from us all that is behind the clouds, so our consciousness from time to time is interfered with by opaquing ideas.

But that doesn't kill the Sun. It doesn't put out its light. It simply conceals it from our view, our vision."
