Lou Heldman (lou.heldman@wichita.edu) is Interim Director and Distinguished Senior Fellow in the Elliott School of Communication, Wichita State University. He teaches seminars in social media and media transformation and consults on these topics.
He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Examiner.com.
He retired in 2007 as president and publisher of the Wichita Eagle and Kansas.com.
He was publisher and president of the Centre Daily Times in State College, PA and served as an editor at newspapers in Tallahassee, Miami, Fort Wayne and Detroit. He also was on the Knight Ridder corporate staff as director of the 25/43 Project.
