Zach Hurst is an entrepreneur and web consultant, who has founded or co-founded multiple businesses and websites. In 2005, Zach conceptualized the idea for 1Dawg.com and developed the business plan that later got it funded. The user-generated video site achieved close to six million unique hits in just shy of five months and Zach single handedly ran support for the entire user-base. 1Dawg.com once ranked #17th amongst "YouTube like" sites. After proving scalability, Zach's company successfully licensed the video technology via a white-label SAAS model. Zach now consults, assisting in the short and long-term goals for functionality of up-and-coming internet start-ups and applies his knowledge of business planning, monetization, viral marketing, and overall creative development. Zach also runs Hurst Consulting, a privately held investment firm for internet start-up companies.
