Just like some of you, I have been learning to build an online business or a home based business to make money online. In the past 6 years, I have tried many business opportunities, but it is only recently that I know what online marketing is.

When I first started with network marketing, my upline mentioned that as long as I follow what they do, I would succeed in the business. Sadly, what they do is to buy leads and call the leads to “show” them the product or opportunity. This turned out to be something worst than my day job; as you may guess, the mlm leads are expensive but not responsive. Being new, I didn’t know what to say, and I need to arrange for 3 way international calls – my upline was in US, prospects maybe from Asia, US or sometimes Europe and myself in Singapore. Can you imagine me making a 3-way international call in the middle of my night! You call that building a business? Well, I did build something; the name of the business was called “BROKE”.

I then went on with affiliate marketing; managed to make some money here and there, but could not even cover my advertising cost.

Just as I was about to give up building my online business, something started to change.

In 2004, I became a spirit filled born again Christian and my life was being blessed in various ways. As I walked with Christ, I started to see that my Lord delights in prospering me and he gave me the power to get wealth. Hence, I continue my quest to build my online business. I managed to pick up new skills and is now able to set up websites ,blogs and to drive traffic. I have since created a blog about my walk with Christ – http://ChristWithMe.com.

It was only in 2007 that I realized how I failed in the early years of my online business.

Jesus said :” Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Ya! How true! What I didn’t do was to give. All I wanted was to sponsor new downlines, sell more affiliate products. Why would anyone join me or purchase something from me?

They didn’t gain anything, not even some valuable information.

Now, the lord had surrounded me with mentors; guiding me on how to 1st make others succeed. I am now providing Online Business Strategy that is helpful for building your business.
