Alec is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Process Assessment and Software Quality Management and is a regularly invited speaker and keynote presenter at seminars and conferences around the world. He is the ISO/IEC convener of the 15504 Process Assessment standardization project, the international project leader of SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination), the coordinator of the Automotive SPICE initiative with the major European OEM car manufacturers, and the ISO/IEC SC7 liaison to ISO 26262 standardization effort on Automotive Safety.
