In the web 1.0 era I helped cre­ate and man­age IBM’s pres­ence on the Inter­net as IBM’s first “Cor­por­ate Web­master” (which is sort of like a CTO but with­out the cool trink­ets and keys to the ex­ecu­tive data cen­ter). I also men­tor lo­cal tech­ies in tech­ni­cal and non–tech­ni­cal (read: po­lit­ical) as­pects of their jobs.
