This isn’t my personal, personal blog. I keep that fairly hidden for family and close friends. This blog is simply a stream of consciousness—things that interest me and just don’t fit very well anywhere else.

I’m the CEO at Lava7, an agency focused exclusively on social media marketing for businesses. I’m also a founding partner at My Social Practice, a comprehensive social media marketing solution for dentists and orthodontists.

In 2008, I founded Cowork Utah, a social media community workspace that provides a collaborative environment for independent designers, bloggers, and programmers.

I’ve worked with the adlab at Brigham Young University. They do great student work. I also teach an MBA course, Social Media Marketing, at BYU’s Marriott School.

I’m a Mormon. I enjoy serving in my church. And although I absolutely love everything I do for a living, there’s nowhere I’d rather be than home with my incredible wife, crazy kids, son-in-law, and grandkids.
