ABOUT ME

1. When I was a kid I wanted to have 12 children and run an orphanage.

2. When I was seven, I was envious that my older brother and sister always had interesting things to say about their day at school. So one day I told my mom that a nun at my school had given me a shot. Furious, the next morning mom took me to school to get to the bottom of it. The head mistress assured my mom it wasn’t true, but I stuck with my story, so she suggested I point out the nun in question. I remember holding my mom’s hand walking through the school looking at each nun and saying “no, not her.”

3. I like story telling.

4. Once, while walking in the rain, I got the handle of my umbrella stuck under my tongue and I had to walk the rest of the way to school with it hanging out of my mouth.

5. In 8th grade my boyfriend told me I could be an 8 - if I was skinnier.

6. I married the guy that all the other girls wished they could marry.

7. On our first date, as we where walking down the sidewalk, my hair got caught in a tree.

8. I just can’t bear running out of time at the end of the day.

9. I’m thinking, it might be a better use of my time, if I made a list of the 25 things I need to finish.

10. I was going to run away with my best friend in sixth grade and live like Indians in the badlands.

11. My mother gifted half the money that was to be my Christmas present one year to a radio station on an Indian reservation. – I was pissed.

12. My sister and I can have laughing fits that last for hours.

13. In junior high I borrowed her favorite shirt and got a stain on it, so I stuffed it behind the furnace.

14. I like old people because they take the time to share their stories.

15. In fifth grade I was stalking Tom Smith’s house when a woman came out and asked me what I was doing, I told her that I had a crush on Tom and she told me boys shouldn’t have crushes on other boys.

16. I always hated my short hair.

17. I can’t decide whether to save the world or myself first.

18. Most days I think insanity is a blessing.

19. I secretly fantasize about being a televangelist for the divine feminine.

20. I use to match my underwear to my socks to the ribbon in my hair.

21. There are some people who I think are so cool, who I wish so badly would like me, that I don’t speak to them.

22. I’m always in awe of sunsets.

23. I rarely see a sunrise, but when I do, I think they’re pretty keen too.

24. I believe in reincarnation just so I can extend the list of things I want to do in my lifetime.

25. I have two incredibly lovely kids of my own, but sometimes I’m afraid they feel like orphans.
