I'm author of Making A Killing: The Political Economy of Animal Rights (AK Press, 2007) and co-author of Vegan Freak: Being Vegan in a Non-Vegan World (2d. ed. PM Press 2009). When I'm not working as a managing editor at Tofu Hound Press, I'm doing other little things like getting a JD, retrieving our adolescent kitten from nearly-inextricable situations, and trying to change the world. I hold a PhD in development sociology from Cornell University.
