Candy is a designer and artist who likes to make the city more legible so citizens can navigate their rights, access information, and have a better chance at making the changes they want to see. Recent work includes a guide for street vendors in New York City, air quality visualizations on mobile devices, post-it notes for neighbors, flash cards on renters’ rights, and local history through SMS. She currently lives in Helsinki and, through amazing luck, she is also a 2009 TED Global Fellow. See more of her here: http://www.candychang.com
