The MIT Live Music Connection (LMC) is a new MIT-recognized student group aimed at bringing live music to MIT's Campus in a free, accessible, and centralized way.

To start this off, we've begun by offering the Live! @ MIT Fall Concert Series, which we've to continued into Spring 2010. We are currently taking booking requests from MIT affiliated groups/artists for next fall - please contact us at lmc-exec@mit.edu .
Though we are currently focused on helping to support existing bands through the series, we plan on enriching the live music culture at MIT, via new and exciting events in the future, including student driven lessons, open jam sessions, and sponsoring large shows for the community.
We aim to break down the barriers to live music and the enjoyment of it at MIT.
In the words of one of our advisors, of the need for live music, "It's Friday night at college, you should be able to go see a live band."
Making that possible as well as expanding the availability of knowledge and resources to campus as a whole is our mission.
