This is where we parked our car for today's walk. As we returned, lights twinkled in Castle Howard and the Christmas lights glowed on the trees along the drive and down the hillside towards the lake. Above them the crescent of the moon shone brightly in the dying light of a good walking day.

Swaledale Landscape Photography Workshops

Start/Finish: The workshop starts at 9.30am and finishes at 6.30pm

Fitness level: Nothing too strenuous. You may be paddling in a stream or walking on moors. Come prepared for English weather.
Equipment needed: Digital DSLR camera, tripod, walking boots/wellies, waterproof clothing and packed lunch.

Malham 3 Day Photography Workshop

These photography workshops are held either midweek from Tuesday evening to Thursday afternoon or Friday evening to whatever time we finish on Sunday.

We will be staying in Malham at Beck Hall. No sharing, you have your own single room.

Malham is a very popular place and you are advised to book at least 2 months in advance to guarantee a room.

I took this in 2008 a mile and a bit from where I live.
From the top of the hill you can get the last of the sunset.

The rim lighting around the horse is just fantastic.
