Stockings Vs Tights
Stockings are the perfect accessory to ensure total sexiness. Worn with a simple suspender belt or a vintage style girdle only adds to the seduction that comes with wearing a pair of stockings. With many different styles on offer it’s not always easy to choose the right pair!

Stockings are now making a huge comeback after tights (pantyhose) nearly wiped out stockings completely. Before WWII every women owned a pair of Nylon stockings, tights were unheard of in those days!
Even during the war, as rationing was in force, ladies would dab their legs with gravy browning and draw the seams down the backs of their legs with an eyebrow pencil. Elegance was paramount even while bombs were dropping!
The difference between tights and stockings are endless. Tights tend to be restrictive but very convenient for everyday use, albeit hot and can be uncomfortable when sitting down, not to mention unattractive. Stockings on the other hand make you feel very feminine as they reveal the tops of the thighs, are more comfortable around the nether regions, and are without doubt, extremely attractive, especially when they are teamed up with a pair of stiletto heels.
There is only one problem with either stockings or tights, and that’s ladders. Unfortunately even the most careful among us will ruin a favourite pair of stockings with a ladder at the most inopportune moments.
Stockings of all styles are all regarded as sexy hosiery for many women, and indeed men. With the recession in full force it is well documented that lingerie items have bucked the downward trend. Many sexy costumes are being sold throughout the country, and of course with every sexy costume, stockings are a must. But it’s my opinion that stockings should be worn as part of everyday life, not just as an accessory to a nurse’s costume or with a corset to please your man. (Although that is important)!
With the overwhelming variety of styles, colours and sizes of stockings available today, is there a reason why anyone should still be wearing tights?
