THE UPSETTERS - DREAD LION (1976)

For a quiet Saturday I'm choosing to settle in with Lee "Scratch" Perry's dub reggae classic Super Ape from his outfit The Upsetters.  In a long and epic career it's one of the pinnacles of his work and reggae in general.  Using today's track Dread Lion as the example, it's at once laidback, spooky, and unsettling.  It's a must-have album for everyone's record collection.  Settle in yourself and join me.
