Photobooks
Five minutes ago I read about the release of the xkcd: volume 0 book over at xkcd.com which reminded me of my photograph passion.
I really love good photographs, people (yes naked ones too), landscapes, buildings or artworks -- it doesn't matter as long the photographs are fascinating. And although the internet is a damn good place to find awesome shots I prefer having something in my hands since the With Full Force music festival. Thanks to Marius, atleast my mind thinks it was him, I (we) got somekind of a snowboard and skateting photobook in my hands. With the combination of booze, nice weather and cool music the photos just stunned me and I knew that someday I want more of this stuff! I can't really remember when or where I discovered Terry Richardson and his amazing work, his shots always look like some amateur pictures, but all of them are all through brilliant. If you check out the Jackass set you will agree on with me that we need similar photographs of our sessions! Another great piece of work comes from Germany, Nils Mueller is mainly taking photographs of (illegal) graffiti sessions. He already published a photobook called Blütezeit which is about graffiti sprayers and their artworks. Beside the great shots on his page there is really cool music you can listen to, any idea what song that could be? I'm really thinking about getting one or two photobooks from them, or maybe I should get the comic book from xkdc?
