Down many hours drive into Baja. Super secluded, we basically saw no other surfers the entire time, and the conditions and swell were amazing. Check the one non-surf photo - untouched beauty is out there if you are willing to go look for it.
One of the better south swells of the '09 summer in Imperial Beach. The last sequence I actually broke my board right in half - and it was an "indestructible" Tuflite board. I ended up contacting the board makers (Surftech), and they gave me a deal on a brand new one, which was very cool of them.
There was nobody around, but actually a couple decent waves came through.
This wave is ridiculously long, and very close to shore. After most waves, you just get out of the water, and walk back up to the top of the point.
