I've written about Zenfolio before (Zenfolio Photo Website Discount), so I won't go into all that it offers - just my new discovery!

One of the resources they offer is the ability to easily create an "Embeddable Slideshow".  You get many options including:

  • Size and aspect ratio
  • Background color
  • Amount of time to display each image
  • Kind of transition
  • Plus several more
After you've made your selections, you just click on the "Create Slideshow" button and it automatically generates the html code to copy and paste into your website - - or here at Activerain in a blog post (like this one) - - or in your Activerain Profile.

I know that there are many other ways to create these automatic slideshows - I've seen many of them right here at Activerain.  I just wanted to show you another nice feature offered by Zenfolio.  One bonus is it automatically links back to your gallery on Zenfolio.

Mom's have the power to make you do stuff you wouldn't dream about. One of those being actually making a dork like me dress up and pose for a photo!!

I loved the trip home.It was awesome. My Bro took a week's leave and we spent the week getting my jaws back working(Root Canal Treatements), visited the authentically duplicate markets of chandigarh, the rock garden and the famous lake. But couldn't get any impressive view of the birdies for which chandigarh is specifically famous for :P.

A bike ride to Chandigarh from Ludhiana through all the green fields of North India can make you shout "Aweeeesssooommmeee" and it was nothing short of that. I get that nostalgic high of childhood which was spent so close to nature as a farmer growing crops in the field with dad and his brothers.

Someday, I will go back for good and get lost in the oblivion and enjoy the freshness of land. Just hoping that the villages are still villages by the time I decide to go back.

I love my India. I love my India. Now i truly understand why the rich NRI's keep craving to go back home. It has all it's shortcomings but it's home :)

Travelling: Beauty of Honduras

With the latest problems in Honduras it's easy to forget about a very important part of the country, the tourism.

It is indeed one of the poorest countries in the region and South America but it's plenty covered with beautiful spots all over the country. I would like to invite you guys to explore with me the beauty of the country and the persons within the Gallery I linked to this Blog post on Flickr.

Travelling in Honduras: Tegucigalpa

The capital of Honduras, Tegucigalpa, is build upon many hills and very steep hills sometimes but it's definitely a very interesting place with sometimes a tremendous difference between the old classical Spanish style and the latest buildings from western companies whom are using low wage workers to make their products.

Travelling in Honduras: Caribbean coast.

If you go towards the coast you come to see the rolling green hills with the local flowers before you get to the Caribbean sea. This is when you get to the beautiful blue colored sea with the islands just a short boat trip away.
The local population is very charming and welcoming to tourists and are happy to share with you the beauty of their country.

Do you have a Honduras travel experience? Please share it with me in the comments.
