The King of Mattresses that is... I used the sleeper to get to London. Great service as I leave Ft William at 8pm-ish and arrive in London's Euston at 8am -ish the next morning. Much easier than taking the plane!
I was meeting my Italian manufacturer who flew in specially, to take him out to meet a Mattress Manufacturer based about 40 minutes out of London. The MM and I are in early talks about linens and I am enjoying the process enormously.
Next step is hopefully to take the King of Mattresses to Italy to view the factory. Nice!
After the meeting I had an unexpected free day in London (sleeper too full that night) so I went to the Waterstones on Picadilly, which just happens to be Europe's biggest bookstore, and spent a blissful 7 hours browsing. Lunch at the 6th floor rooftop restaurant and afternoon tea in the basement cafe, with all the floors of delicious books in between!
Then home again to Loch Sunart - an empty (of people) world away.
