2 pm

Just when I've decided that there are no decent guys left in the world, Joash came along to prove me wrong.

Him and the anonymous person who returned my carelessly lost car keys back to the program office.

Faith in humanity? Restored.

I think the biggest thing anyone, big or small, can do is to take the time to share past experience and knowledge.

@ Auntie Nab's Open House.

Escaped to Shahnim's room which is a treasure trove of all kinds of goodies! It's what I imagine my would be like if I didn't gave...gave?!....HAVE to move every other year - where you can find something at every crook and corner.

Minimalism is so.....for the kitchen. Or an office that does not belong to a professor.

Long nights/early mornings. Deadline ridden. Sudden must-perform old age traditions. Hilarious sibling squabbles. Silly kittens. Midnight kitchen painting. 2 hours trip to 15th century Arabia wannabe. Trigger happy madness. Chauvinism is genetics. Closeted skeletons. Sweepings under the carpet. Anger management. Passive aggressiveness. Theatrics. Crocodile tears. Break ups. Skipping town. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Life can be so god damned dramatic sometimes.

So, journal, journal, journal. It's very vague but I'm sure I have a good reason why I'm so reluctant to start blogging. However Adeline (read: academic supervisor) says it'll help my writing some. I have a vague recollection of what she said in her 30 minute monologue about the current state of my writing and blogging, but keywords include: slowing down thoughts....pacing....more organized....mind mapping....and....focus! YES - focus! Focus is a biiiiiig issue for Adeline and is designated problem numero uno right now. There was also some talk about fear of commitments (?!). I call it lack of discipline or just pure laziness on my part but one of the perks about being an adult is that we get cool, serious sounding names for everyday issues.

Fear of commitments.

And speaking of relationships......

I crack myself up sometimes.

This better work.

'B, set the table. Use the small plates'

'K.'

'Have you set the table yet? Small plates please'

'K.'

'B, when you gonna set the table?! Do you know where the small plates are?'

'Ya. K.'
