Seesmic has brought its Twitter client to the mobile arena as well with the launch of clients for the Android and BlackBerry platforms. Both apps are available for freeExcerpt from Mashable. This is great. An alternative to UberTwitter for my BlackBerry, though native RIM application for Twitter that I'm waiting for. Btw, no Seesmic for iPhone?
I've been using the new Seesmic for Windows all day now, and here's what I've come up with.
The Good:
The Not-So-Good:
There are other limited/missing/buggy features, but luckily they're all listed at Seesmic's Helpdesk. I would have preferred to wait another 2 weeks for them to implement rudimentary features, like mouse scrolling and working buttons. Still, it looks and feels great, and I can definitely see this becoming the Twitter app of choice for power users (those who use Windows, anyway).
I’m trying to figure out why seesmic web looks messed up in firefox 3.5.5. At first I thought it was an extension, but disabling them all didn’t help at all. Hope they fix it soon.
I'll keep it short and sweet rather than bore y'all with an in-depth review:
Pros:
Seemingly each day a new Twitter client blots out of the stable door to the world of social media nuts, most of which I ignore/disregard/can't be bothered to download. But having had great experiences with Seesmic's Twhirl Twitter app, I've decided to give the new Seesmic for Windows a while - so far it looks good!
I'll continue playing around with it today and share my thoughts in a follow-up post. No direct download link is provided on the official website yet (as you have to sign up) so visit http://d.seesmic.com/swin/setup.exe to grab a copy for yourself.
Also, take a look at my impressions of the Android version at retroid.com "Seesmic: The best Android Twitter client?"

Dzisiaj pierwszy raz od kilku tygodni zalogowałem się na stronie webowej Twittera i tu niespodzianka: zostałem wybrany do grupy testerów nowej usługi czyli dużo prostszego retweeta.
