After 5 miles along the coast I was tired so a running buddy and I took a walk up the hill from our route to catch the view from the bluff. The site originally housed a big canon (WWII) to protect the L.A. Harbor. Now it's the home of the gorgeous Korean Friendship Bell at Angel's Gate.
Pt. Fermin in San Pedro, CAPerfect overcast weather for a run. Unfortunately I took a bad spill when I tripped on a part of the sidewalk that had buckled from a tree root. Banged up my knee, elbow and hand. Fortunately managed to keep my face off the sidewalk and out of the bushes! Had to walk the last two miles back to the car. :-( I think my knee is going to be stiff tomorrow.

PS. isn't that impressive, how "first person" a picture becomes, when you don't care about composition and with my leg in it?
