I remember playing this song in Rock Band but I'm not sure if it's the OFFICIAL video. All I can say is that I'll watch this video or clips from this video once a day.

Dass sie einmal Arenen füllen würden, daran glaubte zur Gründung der Rockgruppe vor 10 Jahren noch niemand. Es sei schlicht eine "Riesenüberraschung", heute in Hallen zu spielen, in denen sonst Musiklegenden wie U2 oder die Red Hot Chili Peppers auftreten....

Guitar Hero's Adwords and Taylor Swift

Although Beatles: Rock Band beat Guitar Hero in September Sales, Activision (the parent company of Guitar Hero) still has an amazing marketing arm pushing their product. While searching for Rock Band, you'll see competitive Guitar Hero ads. When searching for Guitar Hero, you won't see Beatles: Rock Band ads. True, Beatles: Rock Band is a more exclusive product (many may argue better), but there is something to be said about a product that's just "good enough" with strong brand name. While Macs are considered by many to be the better product, Microsoft still owns 95% of the computer market. Great products don't always win the race, "good enough" products do and there may be parallels in the Guitar Hero/Rock Band battle to come.

Oh... and somehow Ellen Degeres was able to give away Band Hero to every audience member recently when this year's ingénue Taylor Swift said the mystery word "spiral staircase" on her show. Oddly enough, Taylor Swift is a featured artist on Band Hero.

Am I attributing too much to Guitar Hero or is it just coincidence?

iPhone App: ROCK BAND by EA mobile

Rock Band is now available for purchase for $9.99, which seems to be EA's starting price point for most new release iPhone games.  It appears to play similar (from the screenshots at least) to the recently released Tap Tap Revenge 3 which only cost $0.99. Here is the feature list for EA's Rock Band:

• Sync up via Facebook on your own time.
• Rock out on guitar, bass, drums or vocals to MP3-quality songs
• Play at three levels: easy, medium or difficult

• Check out the in-game Music Store to purchase additional tracks

EA also offers Rock Band Unplugged currently for PSP at $39.99, but the gameplay experience is handled differently than the iPhone version.  I'm a huge fan of Rock Band, but I'm not sure what platform I would prefer to play Rock Band on the go.  I've played the demo on the PSP and enjoyed it, but there is no demo available at this time for iPhone (and I doubt there will ever be one).  I'll wait and see as some of the reviews start coming in before I make my decision.
