Why Does It Seem that the US political system is on the wrong side of the Honduras problem? It would be like George Bush trying to run for president for a third time! We so much want George Bush back in office. I think not. Americans have been after setting term limits on Senators and Representatives. That is part of democracy rock. The danger of a non-changing government is a bigger threat to democracy than any I can think of. 101 on how to get a dictator leave him in office forever. The Honduras Supreme Court ruled he can't run. And he intended to overall their court. So Supreme Court kicked him out. Three cheers for the Honduras Supreme Court and the military at doing the job without loss of blood.
