Complimenti per aver centrato l'obiettivo al primo colpo.

Once again, almost forgot to snap a picture. Watched New Moon with the lover at the mall. Some of the scenes were just as I imagined when I was reading the book. Not that I'm a huge Twilight fan though. Lover fell asleep halfway. ;) Movie ended at midnight and the mall was dead quiet. Snapped a picture. I like empty malls. Strangely peaceful. Even the mannequins in the shop windows have a calmer look on their faces.
I know I'm supposed to be on a strict diet but I watched my carbs today but splurged on a little ice-cream tart at Bakerzin with two of my best female colleagues. That's an icecream tart with scoops of Rum & Raisin ice-cream, Cream Cheese ice-cream and Mango Passionfruit Sorbet. Topped with meringue sticks. It was needless to say, delicious. I felt very guilty after that. Made an appointment with the gym tomorrow so I have absolutely no excuse not to go. If I don't turn up, I'll be penalised on my membership so this is an incentive. Let's see how that goes. :)

Once again, almost forgot to post this up. The weekend went by in a flash and a week of mindless lectures await. Can't say I'm looking forward to it with enthusiasm but at the moment, tons of ice cream with the lover and watching episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm is the best way to welcome the new week. Hooray!
Gus is in his box. Oz is on the fairly new ottoman with the
brand-spanking new round pillow Jenny made!

It's been a tough last four weeks.
Lots of internal struggle with direction, so many things changing in my life and wondering which train, either slow moving or a direct express to a platform in a distant land. it has been, all rather emotional. It's not all bad however, i have been spending more time with my daughter. the world at her height is engaging, bumper car situations that she can get sucked into and enjoy the thrill of the moment with timeout periods for food, replacing nappies and hugs for mummy and daddy. watching my daughter explore and formulate and throw me those emotional 'your my daddy and your playing blocks with me' glances are the things that melt your heart and re-ignite the fires in your soul that remind you what it feels like to be proud. excited. positive. discover, engage not detract - above all play with the blocks. those building blocks maybe brightly coloured and fun but are often the fabric of form and function for an adults scattered brain yet a captured memory for a child. it's good to build on solid foundations.Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®
