Rejaw Gets It's Jaw Broken

As of 3 days ago (of my blog post), Rejaw announced they will be shutting down. Rejaw was one of the new microblogging sites to come up with all the Twitter hype (as with all microblogging sites these days). Why is Rejaw closing? According to "Avatar X" he says
"fuck...well.....not that i am all that surprised with what i was talking about the other day. numbers just didn't cut it. so now we have that true microblogging forms in social messaging can be considered a failure with messagedance quick change of direction, pownce defeat (At least they sold out. thanks to Leah.......contacts..) and now Rejaw because it never had a clarity in any kind of monetization"
That could be true. But, as usual, my theory is Twitter became such a powerhouse in microblogging. It's shocking that Identi.ca is still alive. Kinda sucks to see a small site get eaten like a Pterodactyl drumstick on Fred Flintstone's plate.

I guess my question is what site is next to go?

Pownce to shut down December 15.

Pownce is shutting down eh? Too bad. Then again I haven't really used it in a loooooooong time either. Also I've never been able to post from the AIR client. Weird. Anyway, since all of you my friends on Pownce are on Twitter anyway, shouldn't be such a big loss. I wish it wasn't closing down though. Oh well. Bye Pownce, we hardly knew you.


The worst part of this shut down is that I found out about it overnight from Twitter and as Australian blogger Darren Rowse noticed, there's more talk about it on Twitter than on Pownce, which shows how things are over at Pownceland. I haven't even got an email from Pownce about the whole thing.

Now, as for Rejaw …

Thanksgiving Is Coming Up

Here's what I want you to do.

Thanksgiving is coming up. You get like two days if you're in elementary/high school. One day if you're a normal human adult.
For the love of God...
DON'T LOG ON TO ANY SITES!

I don't care even if it's email. You won't miss anything. I'm sure of this. Don't even have your phone on.  No, Twitter, Plurk, Rejaw, FriendFeed, MySpace, Facebook and all the other social sites you're on. As with all other holidays, there are about spending time with your family. Are you saying your family is that bad that you rather be on Twitter all day or posting a new LOLcat on FriendFeed?

Maybe I'm posting this and people will actually catch on to this or maybe people are just so fucktarded that they will just be on their phone or computer all day during any holiday.
