Just discovered this service and I am absolutely amazed at how easy it is. This is just a test screencast but I can definitely see myself using this service in future.

It is fully integrated with posterous. I go absolutely nuts for stuff like this. Ease of use and simplicity. That's why I adore posterous. Screenr automatically converts the screencast to web and iphone versions. You further have the option to convert it to a Youtube video as well or to download the mp4 version of it. You have the option to automatically post it to twitter or to embed it on a website. Best of all, it is free! Only limit is that 5 minutes per screencast. A handy bookmarklet is also availailable.

Tip of the Day - Don't use Emoji in the Title of a Tape. It crashes the app.

Retro Recorder Splash Screen

Update: 17-Sep-09. Version 1.0.9.3 partially fixes this problem. Partially because you can name a tape with emoji in the title; press record and it appears that you are recording but when you press Stop you cannot Play the 'recorded' tape nor is the emoji titled Tape added to the Tape Collection. Ideally, if you include emoji in the title before recording, you should not be able to record and get a warning as to why.

This excellent App by Audiofile Engineering was killed by the iPhone OS 3.0 update, but after a very long approval period (they submitted the new version on 18 June apparently) a new OS 3.0-friendly version has appeared in the App Store tonight. I haven't had time to check it thoroughly, but here's hoping all works well now.

Alright. So the site is coming along nicely. And getting text, pictures, audio and video to it from the laptop is a breeze. So now the big challenge is how to do the same thing from iPhone to website.

What's the easiest way to capture video to the iphone then email it?

Or what about MP3s??? Apple's built in Voice recorder does m4a format, but I want as much compatibility as possible so what iphone app out there allows you to record audio to MP3 and then email the file out?

Any ideas? Please help a brother out!!!
