.hack//Link takes a page from the other compilation games so popular in Japan right now (Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Tales of VS), by populating the game with many faces from the various .hack games, manga and anime series. Playable partners in the TGS demo included Haseo (from .hack//GU) and Tsukasa (from .hack//SIGN).

Rock Band is now available for purchase for $9.99, which seems to be EA's starting price point for most new release iPhone games.  It appears to play similar (from the screenshots at least) to the recently released Tap Tap Revenge 3 which only cost $0.99. Here is the feature list for EA's Rock Band:
  • Go solo, or push it to the limit with LIVE BLUETOOTH MULTIPLAYER
  • Sync up via Facebook on your own time.
  • Rock out on guitar, bass, drums or vocals to MP3-quality songs
  • Play at three levels: easy, medium or difficult
  • Play solo, or start a band with friends from around the world
  • Jump into Quickplay for casual sessions or take it on the road in Tour Mode
  • Play along with 20 legendary songs from great bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foo Fighters, Blink-182, The Beastie Boys, and more!
  • Start out playing in grungy dives and work all the way up to stadium-rock stardom
  • Collect rewards and achievements that provide replay value and depth to even the most experienced Rock Band veterans
  • Check out the in-game Music Store to purchase additional tracks
EA also offers Rock Band Unplugged currently for PSP at $39.99, but the gameplay experience is handled differently than the iPhone version.  I'm a huge fan of Rock Band, but I'm not sure what platform I would prefer to play Rock Band on the go.  I've played the demo on the PSP and enjoyed it, but there is no demo available at this time for iPhone (and I doubt there will ever be one).  I'll wait and see as some of the reviews start coming in before I make my decision.

No.. I haven't bought them... yet, this post is about the official launch of PS3 Slim and PSP Go at MKG 3 on Thursday night.

So, that night I went to MKG3 to see this event. It was held in the atrium of MKG3, lots of people coming to this place, and of course lots of PS3 Slim, PSP Go & PSP 300x to play with.

I must say I was a bit surprised with this (the official launch), because since their first gaming console, the Sony Playstation 1, Sony has never been officially launch their gaming system in Indonesia. So this is a bit new, does this means that Sony are pretty confident that their new gaming system is unhackable? :D

But one thing remain the same for me, it's the price :D
Ok so let's see...
  • the event was held in one of the biggest Mall in the city? - checked,
  • host by the official product company (Sony Indonesia) ? - checked,
  • got an official 1 year warranty from the official product company (Sony Indonesia) ? - checked
  • and you can also find the product sold at their official store (Sony Center) ? - checked.
Ok so that's it, it's an official product from their official company with less "official" price :D
I won't tell the price here, you just have to go down there to check that by yourself, BUT if you want to know what I think about the price.. well... It's expensive, period.
The PS3 slim got the same price with my phat PS3 that I bought around 4 months ago, and the PSP Go? It has the same price as an Xbox 360 in Mangga Dua :D
So if you bought them there.. you'll get about $100 more expensive than if you bought them at the "unofficial" local store (Mangga Dua), then of course the later won't have an official warranty from Sony Indonesia.

Enough with the price bashing, let's see on the bright side, Indonesia now has the official store in town, so if you got some problem with your PS3 or PSP you can brought them there and let them have a look, if they can't fix them, let's just go back to our trusted old place.. Mangga Dua (PSE or Deltasky, both are a pretty good shop you know) :D

Oh when I'm on the verge of leaving the event, The Indobeatbox Community are take on the stage! thus prevented me to go home.. :P
They showcase their beatboxing skills for about 30-45 minutes, and I think their performance is awesome! it's just da bomb! xD

Wow.. I've been monitoring this game since their 1st trailer, and from what I saw, it looks pretty darn good. I always wanted to have a game that could also push your musical side to take a part in the game, and Beaterator could be the answer for me.... or it's just one of my stupid reason to buy a PSP xD

Just watch this trailer,

Pretty good huh?
Ok, but this next video could be the real "poison" for me to buy a PSP.. xD

A 12 year ol' kid could do it?? Man I am sold! :P
Yeah.. Yeah.. I know some of you might think, "dude!! the ad clearly using a professional musician" or "those kids are probably a child actor" and all of that stuff.. relax I ain't gonna buy it just yet......
........
.....
...
I will wait until Gamespot or IGN has a review for this shyt! xD
Beaterator also will be available for iPod touch and iPhone. Interesting, how would they fare against a PSP eh..

by the way, you can read more about this on kotaku.

"While we hate to admit it, a universal charger doesn’t seem to be something that’s going to happen any time soon for the mobile phone industry. And while we don’t expect anything from the other personal gadget manufacturers, it’s pretty ridiculous that we usually need to buy a new charger when we get a new phone. Making a standard seems to be the obvious thing to do, but hey, what do we know? Then again, if we had a universal rule of thumb for charging our phones, we wouldn’t get cool devices like this." ... info and details at link

PSP

NDSi
