http://pinkforoctober.org"On the 15th of October 2009, Samsung launched its own European Breast Awareness Day, "Everybody’s Doing It", with a Pink Ribbon pop-up at Westfield London.
The pop-up shop was inspired by magical gardens and Wonderland, and opened with an invitation-only celebrity afternoon tea. Representatives from Breakthrough Breast Cancer will also be present throughout the weekend to offer information and advice.Visitors were able to try out Pink Ribbon products from Samsung, including the Samsung N130 laptop and Samsung Tocco Light White (phone available at selected stores in Westfield London) with proceeds going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Westfield London also turned its entire roof pink to show support for breast cancer throughout October -- National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Samsung's own activity is a celebration of its "Everybody’s Doing It" online campaign, which launched on 23rd September. The campaign is a call to action for women across Europe to be breast aware, and features a short viral movie (below) of women who have been touched by the disease. As of Monday 5th October, ‘Everybody’s Doing It’ will be played from 5th to 17th October on a loop on Samsung’s 60-inch outdoor advertising screen in Piccadilly Circus -- the first campaign featuring real women affected by breast cancer to be shown on Samsung's screen."
