This photo is numbered as part of my iphone365 project. Taken,
processed, and uploaded via iPhone 3GS.
you may not have noticed it in the last photo, rather meagre of
details, but I can clearly make out the nose and the two eyes of this
Man of Cheese. He's looking down on earth! I've added a little drawing
to convince you. There really is a guy up there! (and the new moon
does not look at all like boiled lettuce, but maybe Steiner said
boiled lettuce because he didn't see properly? He could have mistaken
a green mould cheese. Or, since it was the old moon back then, maybe
the cheese was not that kind of cheese but more likely normal yellow
cheese turned inappropriately mouldy? And Steiner, trying to correct
near-sightedness with spiritual practice rather than eye glasses,
thought the unsharp green fluff he could perceive must be simmering
lettuce?)
Our two oldest kids and I are enjoying Happy Hour at SONIC Drive-In. We ordered a strawberry fruit slush, a lemon-berry fruit slush and a Route 44 Dr. Pepper. Can you guess which one I ordered?!
We then spent the rest of the daylit afternoon at the playground. I love it when the kids are out of school.
Pilgrim is a wooden ship in Dana Point Harbor. I took this photo with
a film camera.
