Body painting is a type of art in which paint is applied to a part of skin. It is considered one of the ancient types of art. Unlike tattoos, body painting is temporary. Lasting for just few hours or ion some cases a few weeks. Hand painting art is the application of make-up or paint on to the hands to look like any object or mostly to depict animals.

Following art is created by Mario Mariotti (1936-1997), an Italian artist from Florence, famous for his amazing hand painting art.

Artist Guido Daniele who has specialized in body artwork. His hand painting which he dubs as ‘Handimals‘ is appreciated around the world.

For your enjoyment, we have a collection of Guido’s hand painting art, check out his amazing creations which look like real animals.

Vets are baffled at this strange sight: Dolores, a spectacled bear at the Leipzig Zoo in Germany has gone bald!

It could be due to a genetic defect but the animals don’t seem to be suffering any other afflictions.

The normally fluffy dark brown bears should be now growing a thick fur coat to keep them warm during the winter.

One thing the lack of hair shows up in their huge, lethal claws.

But instead the bears, which once originated from South America, have begun developing nasty rashes and inflammations on their skin where their glossy coats should be.

How do you think a bunker should look like - grey walls, painted metal doors and a big ugly building?

Well, maybe it was the case before but these days, a bunker can look utterly different.

Just don't push the BUTTON to try this out!

People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges

Last night I had the opportunity to head downtown and hang out with my long-time friend Nathan Monk at People for Urban Progress's studio 213 for a night of art, hip hop, and afterwards, a burger and coffee at Peppy Grill.  Nathan's art was killer and as usual there was always a crowd around his work.  It's awesome to see his style evolve and watch other people appreciate what this guy puts his time, money, and heart into.

Nathan works with found objects and forms delicious mixed media pieces that tend to make you stop and think.  He focuses on re-purposing objects and recycling materials in new creative ways - which I think is really cool.  This guy is for real.

He sells his work at very good prices (barely enough to cover his material cost and time, in my opinion), so if you're looking for a unique gift idea check out his website and then email him to say hi (Prices aren't listed on the website, but fall in the range of $20 - $100 for most items.  Email him to inquire).  He's a nice, polite dude, who loves people - so give him a minute of your time and check him out

It was a great night overall, but the best part was chilling out at Peppy's with Nate after the show - talking about this, that, and everything.  Now, some photos.

The photos:
  1. Nathan (far right) talking with some folks about his work.
  2. Similar shot, landscape
  3. Artwork in the hallways of the studio
  4. More artwork in the hallways
  5. Artwork in the stairwell (did I mention this place is full of art?)
  6. Nathan with a sculpture in the hallway. (this thing startled me when I first turned the corner ha!)
  7. Me - looking rather serious
  8. Nathan at Peppy's after the show (tired from a long night - more coffee please!)
  9. The view from our corner booth in Peppy's
  10. A smaller panorama view
  11. The aftermath of the hip hop show (which concluded with an amazing hour-long freestyle cypher)
