Ya, I’m a little embarrassed to say this was all for me, as last night I got arrested by the SWAT team because of a Lego gun.

One of the pitfalls of working from home #fb

And That is Why I Have a New Ringtone…
So today something happened that has never happened to me before. I was getting ready for a program we were putting on at the Assisted Living home and as I looked in the mirror bright lights shined on the sides of my eyes and everything got very sparkly, before my vision blurred. I then became very dizzy and started to leave the bathroom to tell mom, but couldn’t walk and couldn’t breathe. I had to lay down where I was just to try and catch my breath, then went into the kitchen and tried to call mom, but I felt very weak. Mom came running and put her arm on my side….I remember telling her something, then after that I don’t remember anything till I woke up on the floor, with my dad holding the back of my head. According to my mom and brother mom tried to lead me to the couch and I became almost zombie-ish then fell forward and hit my head on the kitchen cabinet before falling backwards and hitting my head on the tile floor. Thankfully mom was able to break my second fall some….but I still don’t remember any of it. When I woke up from the blackout my mom was worried and tried having me drink a Dr. Pepper....I was like "Oh great, I am going to die and my last drink will be Dr. Pepper." lol We really can’t figure out what happened, since I don’t have any health problems and it was early morning. I just wanted to thank all of you all for the prayers and sweet emails and tweets! :) I am much better with only a small headache. However, Mom did make me change my ringtone, because she said it creeped her out after the day’s events….
My ringtone was Still Alive from Mirrors Edge. Hehe...
Oei, Auw, de Droid
Oei oei, de droid - het telefoon vlaggeschip van Motorola op het
Android platform - heeft nu al problemen en is nog maar net
gelanceerd. Programmeren voor de Android is nu al een slangennest en
de droid kan maar 256 MB ruimte gebruiken voor applicaties op de
telefoon. Als je bedenkt dat er in de AppStore van Apple al spellen te
koop zijn, die meer dan 150MB aan ruimte innemen, zit je met je droid
ook gauw aan een plafond. Losse applicaties worden waarschijnlijk niet
installeerbaar op de SD kaart.
Nu ben ik niet persé een voorstander van spelletjes op een mobiel,
maar deze beperking geldt natuurlijk ook voor navigatie software en
andere leuke toekomstige software.

Timing is Everything
One of my sources on the street just sent me this little tidbit from the October issue of a community magazine called the Jenks Express. Now after looking through their website and media guide it is most likely that this ad was bought and paid for at least 2-3 weeks before the uproar surfaced and Coach Allan Trimble was put on suspension. Not sure when printing occurs, but you think they might have thought twice about running it in hindsight?
