Free Texture Pack 05 - The Walk To The Subway - Part 1

So every day on the way to and from work I walk about 8 blocks to the N/W train in Astoria, Queens, NYC. Here is a collection of 10 textures that you can use. I took several images of leaves on the sidewalks/streets. My favorite is #48 because of the random rose lying in the middle of the sidewalk. Album Cover: New York Hoosier Presents: A New Beginning.

A month ago or so I designed this album cover for my friend @melfi for his new mix, New York Hoosier Presents: A New Beginning.

There are about 16 different layers in this image. I made a lot of the layers overlayed and then trimmed out the water dots so they only remained on top of the leaves. I also added a little yellow lighting coming from behind the leaf layers. As with most of my designs there are always hidden layers that only affect small parts of the overall image. I think this might be one of my favorite album covers I've done recently, only because of the meaning behind it and how it actually matches up with the name of the album.

Free Texture Pack 04 - Road Trip - Part 1

On my way back to the city two weekends ago I took a lot of random shots. Here are a few that I came up with. Feel free to use these textures for anything and let me see what you come up with. I took these while going through New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. The preview images that you see below are 400 x 300px and the images inside the zip file are 1600 x 1200px.
