Mr. Fish says...

Mike Musgrove writes: "Chris McGill, founder of the McLean-based Web start-up Mixx, isn't much of a fan of Twitter, but his company's latest venture is banking on the microblogging site's widespread appeal. Mixx is a sort of online news service where users vote on the day's most interesting stories. Those stories come mostly from Web sites such as CNN.com. Starting September 9, however, Mixx will offer a new service that combs through Twitter postings, as well. TweetMixx, as a way to keep up with online topics without having to read all the more mundane stuff people feel like typing and sharing in bursts of 140 characters or less." -- Washington Post.

I have been reading Digg for quite some time now. Being able to get RSS feeds on all the topics they have is great, but last few weeks this reading experience has turned sour due to the fact that they display ads in most of their feeds. In the feeds, Digg? If I click an article link I first land on that page at Digg, where they also have ads, so.. that's two ads on one link! That's just being stupid.

Digg is out of here! So.. time to find some alternative's:

I have been using Mixx for some time and it's good. If the would just open their links in the same window it would be even better. Still, they seem to become my new number 1. I used to also read Technorati, but they are restructuring their page/feeds. Hm, I also heard about Guy Kawasaki's Alltop..

If someone has some other suggestions, let me know!
