MMR's new sister label Ghetto Quietly launches in Dublin this weekend with a rock solid line up of Prince Kong, Bluefood and A-Force peddling their sonic wares along with various MCs.
Prince Kong's 'Proper Horror Show' on 2 x 12 inch vinyl will be the label's first release and expect much of the material from this release to feature in Kong's set.
Dublin based Ghetto Quietly will concentrate on limited runs of vinyl for local artists... thus far: Prince Kong, Bluefood and A-Force. Expect GQ vinyls to coincide roughly with MMR digital download releases for these Irish artists.
Perhaps not so much a sister label as a bastard cousin.. the one your Mom never wanted you to hang out with as they were from the wrong side of the tracks!
This ones been in the works for a long time!!Phylum Sinter will be releasing his long awaited MMR debut release in November. 'Detroit Nocturnes' is a fitting tribute to the city that shaped the electronic music revolution that twenty eight year old Christopher Todd grew up to be a part of. Watch this space for further details.
It's time for the next episode of my radio show 'Kick Down The Statues'. This will be broadcast on Proton Radio this Monday, 5th October at 10am EST/7am PST/3pm GMT on the excellent B-Sides show hosted by DJ Chloe Harris from Seattle.
The show features everything and anything; something old, something new; and a load of exclusives from forthcoming Middle Management Recordings artists and releases. No rules, no boundaries... just great music.
The first half begins with truly amazing Scottish band The Aliens and finishes with major label catastrophes, Mumm-Ra. No stronger argument is needed for the current deconstruction of the mainstream music industry - both these bands should be/should have been massive. The Aliens are currently working on LP number three right now and Mumm-Ra sadly split last year. 'She's Got You High' has to be one of the most perfect indie-pop records ever made - and if anybody at their label had any clue as to what they were doing - this should have sold by the bucket load.
Sticking with the Seattle theme... this is also the debut outing for new MMR artist, nineteen year old Holly Prothman. Expect her debut solo release sometime next year... and she will also be fronting and providing vocals for my own project under the 'Aviatrix' moniker.
Elsewhere, there are more exclusives from MMR in the shape of Phylum Sinter's 'Ansi Ansios' from his forthcoming 'Detroit Nocturnes' ep expected in November... and hot on Prince Kong's heels out of Dublin - the amazing Bluefood with his stunning 'Beau Breaks'.
We conclude with some peak time mayhem - CDJJJ's 'Fencing' and Acid Girls "The Numbers Song' providing the hands in the air and rump shaking moments.
Hopefully there's a little something for everyone here.
Kick Down The Statues.

Middle Management Recordings are delighted to welcome Holly Prothman to our family. Nineteen year old Holly is a multi-instrumentalist from just outside of Seattle, WA... and has been producing her own music and writing since the age of fifteen. Her amazing vocal talent has already appeared on several club tracks and her songwriting talent goes from strength to strength. Holly will be releasing her first music via MMR in 2010.
To hear a taste of Holly Prothman's music and voice, check out Kick Down The Statues Radio Show, Episode 2 - coming shortly.

Another great review for Prince Kong's latest release 'Proper Horror Show' mini album... this time from Superfan2009.com.
"Dublin, Ireland’s Prince Kong delivers a dancehall smasher with some tight verses and inspired dub style madness. Touching on various stages of UK underground club music evolution, this emerges as an original statement – relevant, compelling and raw. And in the best tradition of reggae’s myriad sub-genres, you can move your feet to it, as well as your mind. GO deh!" Thanks Superfan!
Ian Neal now has his own fan page on myspace. The new page can be found at...

"Kingdom Of The Birds" has already been played on UK national radio (BBC Radio 1) and appeared on the highly acclaimed compilation "A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind - Volume 1" by DJ's Amporphous Androgynous a.k.a. Future Sound of London. ["Quite simply the best compilation album ever!" TIME OUT, LONDON.]
All schools should now be in Basic Scheduling and for those
who are not should be real close. Attached is the document to Mass Change
the Student Screen with the correct Homeroom Number and Teacher. Please
follow the instructions and have this data within the next few days. To
run the query you must be a Security Officer. Also we are in the process
of assigning students their GTID number. We have been running into a lot of
students who are missing their SSN, ethic code, birthdates, etc.. When
this happens the student does not get a GTID. You will have some angry cafeteria
workers mad when the students are not in their system because we can’t
assign them a GTID. Also, without the GTID students will not be able to
log into a lot of the software that we use. Please get this data in ASAP
and start correcting your data.
Here are the process that you must start running daily:
1. Update Student Data from the GA Supplemental
atom - if you don’t run this no GTID can be entered
2.Update Seats from Classxp – if you don’t
run this no teachers can take attendance
Please run the above process daily.
If you have not exported from Integrade please do that at
this time so we can get the Integrade User Accounts created for all of your
teachers.
One last thing to remember is that we have a Customer
Support Center now so if you have any questions or issues you should always
contact them first. The fastest way to receive help is to submit an
online technology work order through Employee Net.
