Beautiful Ful Fall/Winter 2009 Collection

A Beautiful Ful uma marca que está estabelecida em Los Angeles acabou de lançar um lookbook pra sua nova coleção de outono/inverno 2009.

Essa marca ainda não é muito conhecida la fora e muito menos aqui no Brasil, mas os looks são bem bacanas e acho que alguns deles da pra vestir numa boa no dia a dia em uma festa ou qualquer outra ocasião.

Eu sei, estamos no verão mas lá fora ocorrem as estações opostas que aqui, porém não é por isso que vamos fechar nossos olhos pro que rola por lá nao é mesmo? É até uma boa pra se antecipar no próxímo inverno do ano que vem!

Topshop Timsah Ağzı

Christopher Kane'nin Topshop için hazırladığı Timsah temalı koleksiyonu topshop online'da satışa sunulmuş. Marc Jacobs'un Sigmund Freud baskılı elbise tasarımından sonra gördüğüm en iyi uyarlama Timsah baskılı elbise olmuş. Timsahın derisini kaplayan sert pullar Kane'nin tasarımında yerini metal zımbalara bırakmış.

Aaaw yeah!  You're looking at the image that went into the Fashion Fights Poverty 2008 "Dress Responsibly" Look Book.  The FFP Look Book is a major component to the visual campaign that advertises the main fashion show event, taking place on September 26, 2008.  All of the apparel and jewelry featured in the FFP Look Book are made by designers that help promote eco-friendly, ethical and fair traded practices in their respective fashion businesses.  The theme throughout the Look Book is a tribute to American innovations in fashion design and their creative approach to addressing global poverty. 

I took a series of photos for the FFP Look Book at Michael's private studio located nearby DuPont Circle.  Elaine picked out an ensemble consisting of eco-friendly pieces from local vintage boutiques.  The 'overalls' is actually a messenger bag from the Nest, which is FFP's main beneficiary for the 2008 campaign.  It was a big honor and to be a part of such a sophisticated campaign that combines my interests in fashion with economic development issues.
