J Rocc mixes discarded vinyl.
Not so long ago I wrote about the Secondhand Sureshots movie that's premiering soon.
Today Stones Throw Podcast 52 was released. Apparently all the $1 records that ended up not being used in the project landed in J Rocc's hands. Now he put together a 47 minute long mix of obscure (and some not so obscure...) vinyl finds from the dollar bins of LA. Grab it free on iTunes.

"Secondhand Sureshots is a filmed experiment in creative sound recycling. Dublab director Bryan “Morpho” Younce sent beatmakers Daedalus, Nobody, J.Rocc and Ras G on safari into L.A. thrift stores with orders to make new music out of five finds while the cameras filmed the whole process.
