CFSB WOD – 11.12.09
Split Squat 3×10 (each leg) with heavy DBs/KBs in the suitcase carry position: 40# x 10 / 50# x 10 / 50# x 10

“Josh” as RxD
21 95/65 lbs OHS
42 Pull-Ups
15 OHS
30 Pull-Ups
9 OHS
18 Pull-Ups

Time: 22:29

Did a Hero workout today - Josh. I kinda suck at pull-ups and it was a whole mess of pull-ups. Slaughter helped my hand situation a shit ton with some tape and a not so complicated, but not instinctual method of wrapping it. The Overhead Squats weren't that bad. I suggested doing a pseudo reverse version with 42, 30, 18, OHS (at 95# of course) and 21, 15, 9 pull-ups. I would call it Ojhs (pronounced ose, since jh would basically be silent). Pretty sure I could post a better time doing Ojhs - maybe.

Pic below is some bad ass doing a good OHS. I can only imagine I looked at least this solid throughout.

Well, it's day one. Even though I volunteered for this, I kind of regret doing it. It's too late for second thoughts, though, since the doors have just been sealed. I have been assigned the Plains Biome with two other people, and it seems like we might be able to keep this Biome intact. I don't really know anything about the Plains or how to maintain it, but if the Puritan settlers could do it, so could we. Today I'm going to explore my area, and see how much land we have to manage. I hope it's not too much.

I Came, I Saw, I Commented: Was It Worth It?

A Guest post by Josh HanagarneWorld’s Strongest Librarian

The Experiment

I spent one week leaving as many comments as possible.

Now, a common question is “how do I find blogs to comment on?” First and foremost: I believe that real peace of mind comes from staying out of conversations you aren’t ready for. Meaning, if your idea of masterful penmanship is doodling with a crayon in your mouth, you might look out of place trying to jump into a conversation with a bunch of bloggers discussing calligraphy.

So where did I find blogs to comment on? Get the tricks

I took Josh and Xander to Local Sound yesterday to help Mark put up the drywall on the outside wall of Studio #4 and put up the foam on the inside. When we go there the guys were laying down the floor inside so we did some maintenance on Studio #3.
