Nov. 27th, Jimi Hendrix's birthday (day 5 & 6)
November 27th, 1942 was the day Jimi Hendrix was born. Hendrix made a great impact on music. I love his music and that's why for his birthday, I listened to the Smash Hits from The Jimi Hendrix Experience. I don't really need to say anything more, just listen to the song.
I also listened to Damien Rice's 9, which is one of my new favorite records from the singer-songwriter/folk/slow rock genre. It puts together these emotions you don't expect in a usual slow rock genre with great vocals from Rice. This is a must-listen! (Also, Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter" is one of the best songs by him).
