I took a two hour assessment class at George Fox University to see if I wanted to joint their program.  One of the activities was to erect a tower with Tinker toys, while collaborating  with your assigned group (cohort).  We had 20 minutes of planning, then 4 minutes to build.  We had a good time, lots of fun.  We lost by 4 inches, even though our tower was engineered so much better than the other group, we still lost.  The objective was to make sure that it stood for over 1 min after the 4 minutes was up, and whomever had the tallest tower won.  The other team just started putting tinker toys on top of each other until their's was higher.  We still had fun, and we learned a lot.  We went for the cork screw design so the weight of the tower would counter balance while equally applying pressure to hold the tower together.

Little Jr and I had an opportunity to go to the game yesterday to watch the Broncos whoop up on the Vandals.  It was an awesome game (if you are a broncos fan)  We were on the 50 yard line, and only 10 rows up, it was perfect.  Uncle John was there too.  Bo big Blue!  We were in section 23, row I seat 23-24 area (east side of stadium), perfect!

Jeremy and I got a chance to go to the BSU game vs Idaho.  It was a blast, and we were on the 50 yard line, 10 rows up from the bottom.   It was a fantastic game, thanks to the Idaho vandals getting a huge whooping!

Little JR and I went out for some field-goal kicking practice.  I kicked a field-goal with camera phone in my hand.  I surprised myself with a 40 yard fieldgoal before this too.  (there was a massive tailwind that helped a lot)

Rachael and I were sitting in the Chapel for sacrament meeting, the boys were sitting on the stands doing their primary program.  It was a good program, fun to see them up there singing.  Rachael and I saw this sweatshirt (broncos sweatshirt) sitting on the door hanger next to us in the chapel/gym ( ward extends back into the gym)  I asked her if she liked that sweater, and she said yes.  I knew she did, because its orange.  I asked her if she has thoughts of stealing it, and she said yes.  I thought it was funny that we were sitting in church and that was the conversation that we were having while being enlightened in church.  Do those two things cancel each other out? (being enlightened & stealing)  like two penalties in football, one for each side (offsetting penalties).  We didn't actually steal it, but we were thinking about it, and yes mostly joking.  Some people go to church to take something home, like a spiritutual message, we just think you should take something home even if its not yours.
