My friend, Jennifer's Facebook status yesterday read as follows:

"The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you." ~ Rita Mae Brown

This is certainly something to consider.

My first response was "No worry ... all of my friends are totally insane."

Then, after a moment of reflection, I was reminded of a run-in I once had, and I was inspired to share it. So, this was my next response:

"Oh, wait ... there was that time the doctor suspicion me of delusions of grandeur. It was hard to imagine that somebody would accuse me of being less than perfect. I mean, arrogance would be a flaw, so this was clearly not possible. I was so shaken that I decided to stoop to the doctor's level and spend my valuable time to explain that it was *recognition* of grandeur that he had confused with delusions of grandeur.

Plus, just because I had to cover all of the mirrors in my house didn't mean I was conceited. It was simply that with all of the mirrors around, I found it hard to ever get anything done. Put up a photo of me and you will see what I mean ... it is like a huge magnet!

Anyway ... that was as close as I came to any mental episode. I was fortunate to get that all cleared up."

You know, come to think of it ... I am pretty sure that Narcissus fella actually saw me in the reflection when he drowned.

So, there you have it ... In case you ever wondered. Mark is totally in the clear. What about you?

(Hauptsächlich in Japan. Klar.) Einfach mal "Kaizo Mario" oder "Asshole Mario" bei YouTube eingeben...

Aber das hier übertrifft alles!

Vier Typen spielen simultan vier verschiedene selbst gebaute (!) Super Mario Levels, die übereinandergelegt die Melodie von "Don't stop me now" von Queen ergeben. Un. Glaub. Lich.

Holy Shit. This is a year old, but I had never seen it before. Crazy long-board ride. I found myself watching this with a wince most of the time. The first two minutes are setup so just cut to the action and skip forward to 2:15 or so.

Bar tending well and truly is a long lost art form that many of us seem to forget about, and to think that all you need in this country to work behind a bar is a RSA course... Anyway, I leave you with some utterly insane videos of bar tenders doing their thing, think you can top these guys?

It's like a bar tending circus!!

Earlier today around 2 pm west Indonesia time, renowned Indonesian movie director and screenwriter Joko Anwar tweeted that he was going to go into a Circle K naked if his twitter account reaches 3000 followers. In barely any time at all, that tweet was retweeted so many times that it pushed "Circle K" into the top of trending topic within a few minutes and baffled a lot of Twitter users around the globe.

The fact that he tweeted in English helped everyone around the globe understand what the whole fuss was about and joined in the fun, retweeting his "challenge" out of control and followed @jokoanwar en masse. Within one hour, his 1000 followers had ballooned to more than 3500, and as of this writing, had reached over 7300. That's under 5 hours.

Most of the people though won't actually be able to see him do it but they're all interested if he was going to go ahead with his claim. Of course, plans for documentation on Flickr and YouTube is set in motion but that remains to be seen what with the new Indonesian film law that was just passed a few weeks ago. Ironically, Anwar is one of the strongest opponents of the draconian law.

Now, this whole stunt had drawn other claims saying he would run naked at PIM (Pondok Indah Mall) but he never actually said it. This was in fact a prank claim by @hasief which again took a life of its own similar to the original claim. There is no truth to this one. Regardless, PIM made it into trending topic within a short time.

Will the outspoken director follow through with his challenge now that he's got more than twice the target? We'll soon find out. He said he's going to do it tonight although no word as to where and exactly when.

Circle K certainly got quite an exposure today and Indonesian Twitter users certainly figured out how to get topics to trend on Twitter. It's just a matter of numbers.
