Ozzy Osbourne
Su nombre completo es John Michael Osbourne, nació el 3 de diciembre de 1948 en Aston, Birmingham, es un gran cantante y excelente compositor británico con una carrera de más de 40 años (eh, chéquense, este si vive , respira, come y suda del heavy metal) .
Y como lo dice en un video de su canción Crazy Train, es el “Prince of Darkness”desde 1979 y si, hace algunas travesurillas como chocar una moto y fracturarse en diferentes partes del cuerpo(y esa fue de las ultimas), pero vamos, es de los buenos músicos que aun siguen en pie regalándonos buena música.
Pero no crean, tuvo épocas difíciles , dejó la escuela a los 15 años, robó en casas hasta que lo arrestaron y fue condenado a 3 meses de cárcel, donde ahí con una aguja de coser y un trozo de grafito se hizo varios tatuajes, y el de ozzy en sus nudillos (wow, si la inyección duele, tatuarte tu mismo, no se si dolerá más que un calzon chino… no, no lo quiero averiguar)
Luego que viera un anuncio donde se buscaba un vocalista, y en esa banda se llamó Earth, y consiguieron darse a conocer en algunas zonas, pero cuando se dieron cuenta que había otra banda con el mismo nombre, decidieron ponerse otro…Black Sabbath
Lo importante de Ozzy y Sabbath es por que simplemente fue una de las bandas iniciadoras del Hard Rock y Heavy Metal yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaah!!!
Aunque en 1979 Osbourne es despedido de Balck Sabbath por su adicción a las drogas y al alcohol, de ahí….. la carrera solista
Luego tubo problemas muy fuertes, en Canada un muchacho de 19 años se suicidó, y al recoger el cuerpo, tenía unos audífonos con un cassete de Ozzy. El padre del joven demandó a ozzy, y el se defendió diciendo que la canción que escuchaba “Suicide Solution” estaba dedicada al fallecido cantante de AC/DC Bon Scott (que este con dios) y finalmenteel juez retiro los cargos.
Su aparición más reciente fue en RAW como gerente general el 2 de noviembre del 2009 , y fue genial ese programa XP, también ha salido en el programa “Padre de Familia” y en varios comerciales de productos como Samsung (y graciosos algunos de ellos). Les dejo un link para que vean a que me refiero
Last night I played TapTapRevenge and I got bored with all songs that I already have. I check free downloadable song, and found a song called Warrior of Time by the band called Black Tide.
I have no idea about Black Tide whatsoever, but I have a feeling this song is gonna be fun to play, and it is! I even stopped before the vocals come out! Holykaw! it is just the intro part but they notoriously attacking on me! straight to my face! and I cannot fight back! I'm a loser! boooo! But instead of shut the game off, I kept the song rolled out without hitting any notes. And guess what.... HOLYKAW! This song is amazing. I knew it when first I heard those accoustic intro. A huge feeling of it.
This morning, with a "magic finger helps", I've listened to all songs in the Light From Above album from Black Tide. Light From Above is actually their first album, released in 2008, which, since they was formed in 2004. As my ear listening to 11 songs in Light From Above, It's complete-full-packed heavy metal from A-Z and I've got "pissed-off" with them because they didn't gave me any chance to took even a short-quick breath between songs. Gee. In short words, I believe Black Tide is a promising to become a new star in heavy metal scene. Definitely can't wait for their next release. Black Tide's Light From Above is very recommended to all of you metalhead, who miss old glory-ness of heavy metal. They'd succeed bring that moment back. so far. period.

We lost a pioneer yesterday, kids. Dickie Peterson (first on the left in the photo below), bassist and vocalist of the San Francisco's legendary Blue Cheer passed away yesterday at the age of 61.
Once pegged by critic Lester Bangs as "the first true heavy metal band" Blue Cheer sounded the starter pistol with their sludgy cover of Eddie Cochran's Summertime Blues. The song, along with their debut album Vincebus Eruptum from which it came are ground zero for the start of metal and eclipsed your precious Led Zeppelin by a good year. How 'bout that, kids? Out Of Focus comes from said album and it is awesome. Thank you for great music and a genre, Dickie!
