Another one of my daughters school work. Since thanksgiving is coming up this week they were given a little history about Indians and thanksgiving.
Hat. Geeky? I'm not sure.
So here it is. I've concluded that the shape doesn't really lend itself to being costumey. All I could do is add Yoda ears, which would need to be wired and I'm not sure I can be bothered. The purple pompoms at the back may just have to do.
A wip (work in progress)
It's the Armageddon Con (http://www.armageddonexpo.com/nz/) this weekend and I want a geeky hat to wear. The trouble with having dreads is that standard beanies just don't work. So I'm crocheting this flat piece of fabric to join up into a tube, and hoping I can turn it either into Cthulhu or a brain slug. Any other suggestions welcome!
