It's a wrap! We're still tallying the number of parties, shows, boutiques, interviews, photos and Martini stops - you can assume the GS team are sleeping all the way from NYC back to Sydney, and then some.

Ruffles from Marc Jacobs, Toni Maticevski, Karen Walker and Willow. How to dine like a local on authentic Mexican food, and why the ACE hotel really is ACE.

Strike a pose - these two street style shots captured by GS's photographer look like they've been taken with a frame guide. Take me downtown!

Day 1 - GS Lands in the Big Apple

Model addictions and first looks off the catwalk.

Almost midnight and have downed 12.2 coffees. Useful to know where to get the best brew (according to every Australian ex-pat GS could find), and the all-important Martini stop.

We're smitten that Ms Emma Gardiner will be Daily Addict's July guest editor. For an insight on what's to come, we asked her for her thoughts on what makes an experience.  Her response?

Every once in a while, you experience a perfect moment. You look around at the laughing faces of your friends and take a mental Polaroid. This is it. Happiness.

Standing in the darkness at a gig, you feel a euphoric rush as the music hits you in the chest and the lyrics fill you. People bump against you. Your drink spills but you don't notice because you are transported.

Sitting in the warm light of a restaurant, a meal arrives that is just what you feel like. The waiter makes you smile and you order the wine he recommends. Wellbeing sets in and your mind stands still for once. You feel content.

It's not just about where you've been; it's about how that experience transformed you. About how it feeds you and stretches your mind. About the love it beckons into your life.

We think you're in for a treat.
