Good news everyone!

Arguably the best drum break compilation series is back for number 16. Classic, dusty soul and funk tunes, that will cost you a fortune (both time and money) if you were looking for the originals. Happy days!

Bassist Doug was one of a kind, such a tragic loss. I tried to create a tribute blog post for him here:
http://philwbass.wordpress.com/2009/06/04/doug-rauch/
I'm pleased that it gets a lot of daily traffic. No-one played bass like Doug.
Ray Gomez plays a lovely guitar solo here on what is one of my favourite records - sadly unavailable on CD. Lenny White is on drums and Onaje Allan Gumbs on keyboards.
Of course the video here has nothing to do with the music but so great that you at least get to hear the music!
