friends S104 notes
Pretty girls and hip-hop parties had nothing to do with this weekend. (Not that they had anything to do with any week I've had before. Just saying so because I wanted to start the post with an catchy phrase).
This week was about work and my life revolving around work and friends.
The highlight was a fight I had with a friend. I had misunderstood him and his behaviour. I kept it to myself and the frustration just built up within me. One day, it exploded and I burst out at him in a fit of rage. I spent the next few days repenting and apologizing for what I did. Hmm... This isn't the first time I've done something like this. Gotta learn to stay cool.
In other news, we have Internet and a telly at our new apartment. Internet through an Airtel line with 90% BitTorrent usage and 10% web browsing. So we have in-house entertainment now. :)
Mike and Mary Frances shortly before we dug into our homemade chicken parm. Having green tortellini counts as a vegetable, right?
i just had an argument with my boyfriend and as usual, he really did not like his argument being beaten. and we just paused, in a such very long time...
he now even is overprotective of me. i know it's usual for 'partners' but it's just too possessive and i'm not really comfortable with it :(
The 3rd Annual Moses/Boettner and Friends Thanksgiving Dinner! We returned to the Great Oaks apartments (where we were 2 years ago), and had a great time. This year we gathered 7 friends together and barely fit around the little round table (as you can see in the video). We deep fried the turkey this year, and I'm glad we did. All the food was great, as well as the fellowship throughout the evening.

Our friend Laura works in the L&D department where Nicole's going to deliver. Tonight things were slow there at the hospital, so she invited us over for this little treat. Seriously awesome, I'm telling you. Ridiculously incredible.
Later, after Nicole and I got home, we watched last night's episode of Glee. The caliber of this episode was exquisite—spot-on humor followed by fervent candor. Several moments were so gut-wrenchingly emotional, I almost got choked up. But none were more moving than this pair of scenes:

So, when the episode ended, we were immediately compelled to download this cover. As we watched it I wanted to do the same thing for our child.
Honestly, I've been wanting to plan and create something musical to celebrate this child. Eef Barzelay (of Clem Snide) did this with "Find Love," and Jonathan Coulton did this with "You Ruined Everything." I just haven't found that small bit of inspiration to start it yet.
Any tips?
This will make you smile :o)
After a long day at school, a good friend and I decided to have lunch at Jurong Point, a heartland mall near where we work. It's a usual hangout place for many colleagues, friends and yes, even the lover and I. :) Got there today and noticed something different. Christmas decor is up! A lovely tree. What I like best about the holiday, even though I don't share the same faith with the celebrators, is the air and atmosphere of love, light and such wonderful joy and giggles it brings. Hello December, we are awaiting you with a heart filled with unbridled happiness. :))
